How to read what a game gives back, inside the game

This is the shortest guide on the site and the only one that asks you to do something. It takes about fifteen seconds and it is the single most useful thing on this page.

  1. Open the game. App or browser, it makes no difference.
  2. Find the menu. Usually an icon in a corner of the game window: three lines, a cog, or an i in a circle.
  3. Open the rules or information screen. Some games call it Game Rules, some call it Info, some call it Paytable.
  4. Read the declared return. A percentage, stated by the studio that made the game.

Do it once at the book you use, before you stake, and you will know something about that game that no comparison page in this market can tell you, including this one.

About the panel

Why does this site not just publish the figures?
Because it has not read them. Publishing a figure you did not open the game to check is the one thing this desk refuses to do, and it is what almost every other page on this subject is doing.
Is the panel the same at every bookmaker?
The panel belongs to the game rather than to the bookmaker showing it, so the screen looks the same wherever you meet a given title. What can differ between operators, for titles that ship in more than one configuration, is which configuration is running, and that is exactly what the panel declares.
What if the panel does not state a return?
Then you have learned something worth knowing before you stake, which is that the game you are about to play does not tell you what it gives back. That is a legitimate reason to close it.
